Hello all! In this article I’d like to tell how to crochet this plush pillow easy and quickly. You can use this pillow as usual, on your sofa; I’ve crocheted some of these pillows for my baby girl, to add in her bed. I’ve used all my plush yarn, which I prepared to crochet a baby blanket 🙂

What do you need:

Plush yarn (for example Himalaya Dolphin Baby, 100g/120m, 100% polyester)

Crochet hook (#5.5)

Fiber fill

Scissors

Let’s start crocheting:

Please notice, this pillow is crocheted with rounds. You need to create the main detail twice, using the following instruction:

1. Create a magic ring
2. ch 1, 7 sc in the ring, slip st in the beginning of the round
3. ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 14 sts
4. ch 1, {sc in the next st, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 21 st
5. ch 1, {sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 28 sts
6. ch 1, {sc in the next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 35 sts
7. ch 1, {sc in the next 4 sts, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 42 sts
8. ch 1, {sc in the next 5 sts, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 49 sts
9. ch 1, {sc in the next 6 sts, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 56 sts
10. ch 1, {sc in the next 7 sts, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 63 sts
11. ch 1, {sc in the next 8 sts, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 70 sts
12. ch 1, {sc in the next 9 sts, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 77 sts
13. ch 1, {sc in the next 10 sts, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 84 sts
14. ch 1, {sc in the next 11 sts, 2 sc in the next st} х 7 times, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 91 st
15. ch 1, sc in each st around, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 91 st
16. ch 1, sc in each st around, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 91 st
17. ch 1, sc in each st around, slip st in the beginning of the round. = 91 st.

On this step you need to cut the thread and start crocheting the second detail using the same steps. When the second detail is ready, please don’t cut the thread off, and start slipping both details, using sc in each st around, slipping both details together. Please don’t forget to fill your pillow, before you completed to slip both details together 🙂

So, the pillow is filled, both details are crocheted together. Now we can start working on borders, which contain just one round:

ch 1, sc in the same st, {*skip next 2 sts, 5 dc in the next st, skip next 2 sts, sc in the next st,* sc in the next st} х 12 times, repeat from * to * once again, slip st in the beginning of the round. Finish off. The pillow is ready!
