Roisin doily designed by gull808

You will need:
- Lace Yarn (for example, Iris, 150 m / 25 g, you’ll need about 200 m)
- Crochet hook (#1)
- Scissors
Difficulty level: Intermediate
Size of the finished doily in case of using the yarn from my example is about 36 cm.
Stitch Guide (US terms):
yo = yarn over
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
fpdtr = front post double treble crochet
Q-cluster (2 fpdtr stitches are used) = 3 yos, insert hook from front to back around the second fpdtr of the indicated pair, yo and pull up the loop, [crochet 2 loops on the hook] x 3 times, 3 yos, insert hook from front to back around the first fpdtr of the indicated pair, yo and pull up the loop, [crochet 2 loops on the hook] x 3 times, crochet all 3 loops on the hook

RW-cluster (2 sts are used) = yo, insert hook from front to back around the first indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from back to front around the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from back to front around the same st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, crochet all 4 loops on the hook
LW-cluster (2 sts are used) = yo, insert hook from back to front around the first indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from back to front around the same st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from front to back around the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, crochet all 4 loops on the hook
beginning W-cluster (3 sts are used) = front post slip stitch around the first indicated st, ch 2, yo, insert hook from back to front around the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from back to front around the same st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from front to back around the third indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, crochet all 4 loops on the hook
W-cluster (3 sts are used) = yo, insert hook from front to back around the first indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from back to front around the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from back to front around the same st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from front to back around the third indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, crochet all 5 loops on the hook
2dc-cluster = yo, insert hook in the indicated st/space, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook in the same st/space, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, crochet all 3 loops on the hook
2bptr-decrease (2 sts are used) = 2 yos, insert hook from back to front around the first indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook twice, 2 yos, insert hook from back to front around the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook twice, crochet all 3 loops on the hook
bpdtr = back post double treble crochet
N-cluster (2 spaces and the cluster between them are used) = ch 5, 2dc-cluster in the 5th loop from the hook, crochet 2 loops on the hook, 2 yos, insert hook in the space of the previous round (the same as ch 5 started), yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook twice, [yo, insert hook from front to back around the cluster, yo and pull up the loop] x 5 times, yo and crochet all loops on the hook, ch 2, reverse dc in the top of just created cluster, ch 3, slip st in the same top, 2 yos, insert hook in the next space of the previous round, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook twice, crochet all loops on the hook, ch 5, 2dc-cluster in the 5th loop from the hook (please see image below, to make it clearer for you)
4fpdc-decrease (2 2fpdc-clusters of the previous round are used, bpdtr, which is between them, is skipped) = yo, insert hook from front to back around the first cluster, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from front to back around the same cluster, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from front to back around the next cluster, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from front to back around the same cluster, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, crochet all loops on the hook
