You will need:

Lace Yarn (for example, Cot Line GRONITEX, 250 m / 50 g, you’ll need about 180 m)
Crochet hook (#2)
Scissors
Markers

Difficulty level: Intermediate

Size of the finished doily in case of using the yarn from my example is about 25 cm.

Stitch Guide (US terms):

yo = yarn over

ch = chain

sc = single crochet

dc = double crochet

hdc = half double crochet

fpdc = front post double crochet

4dc-popcorn = 4 dc in the selected st/space, drop the loop from the hook, insert hook in the top of the first st of this group and pull up the working loop. It should look like popcorn

picot = ch 3, slip st in the top of last created st

2fpdc-decrease (2 sts are used) = yo, insert hook from front to back around the first indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from front to back around the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, crochet all loops on the hook

beginning 2fpdc-decrease (2 sts are used) = slip st from front to back around the first indicated st, ch 2, yo, insert hook from front to back around the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, crochet all loops on the hook

fpsc = front post single crochet

4hdc-cluster = [yo, insert hook in the indicated st/space, yo and pull up the loop] x 4 times, crochet all loops on the hook

2dc-decrease (2 sts are used) = yo, insert hook in the first indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook in the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, crochet all loops on the hook

Let’s start crocheting:

3	ch 1, sc in the same st, [ch 2, skip the next st, sc in the next st] x 13 times, make ch 1 + sc in the beginning of the round to complete the last ch 2 space.	14 sc 14 spaces (ch 2)
4	ch 1, sc in the same space, [5 dc in the next space, sc in the next space] x 6 times, 5 dc in the next space, slip st in the beginning of the round.	7 sc 35 dc
5	ch 1, slip st in the skipped sc of the 3rd round directly below, ch 22, slip st in the 2nd loop from the hook and next 20 loops, slip st in the same st of the 3rd round as in point 1, ch 32, slip st in the 2nd loop from the hook and next 30 loops, slip st in the same st of the 3rd round. Fasten off. There are 2 ropes: one is longer than other. The longest rope should be inserted through the holes above the skipped sc of the 3rd round. Then you can add the coin to this small tote bag (according to some legends it can have some power and this doily will attract money 😀 ) and continue working on the following rounds. My suggestion is to add the coin after blocking to prevent coloring the doily with the rust.
