Difficulty level: Intermediate
For that doily you’ll need about 50-70 m of size 10 crochet thread and steel crochet hook. Size of the finished doily is about 14 cm after blocking.
For the better look, I recommend to wash and block the finished doily.

Stitch guide (US terms):
ch = chain
sl st = slip st
lp = loop
4hdc-cluster = [yo, insert hook in the indicated st or space, yo and pull up the loop] x 4 times, yo and draw through 8 loops on the hook, yo and draw through all loops on the hook
dc = double crochet
4fphdc-cluster = [yo, insert hook from front to back around the indicated st, yo and pull up the loop] x 4 times, yo and draw through 8 loops on the hook, yo and draw through all loops on the hook
fphdc = front post half double crochet
fptr = front post treble crochet
fpdc = front post double crochet
right special decrease (2 sts are used) = yo twice, insert hook from front to back around the first indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, draw through 2 loops on the hook twice, yo, insert hook from front to back around the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, draw through 2 loops on the hook, draw through all loops on the hook
left special decrease (2 sts are used) = yo, insert hook from front to back around the first indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, draw through 2 loops on the hook, yo twice, insert hook from front to back around the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, draw through 2 loops on the hook twice, draw through all loops on the hook
6tr-popcorn = make 6 tr in the indicated st or space, drop the loop from the hook, insert hook in the top of the first tr of this group, pull up the working loop, make ch 1 to complete the popcorn and make it accurate
small picot = ch 3, sl st in the top of the last created st
picot = ch 4, sl st in the 4th loop from the hook, ch 1
large picot = ch 5, sl st in top of the last created st
bpsc = back post single crochet
bphdc = back post half double crochet
bpdc =back post double crochet

You can make several motives using this pattern and join them together to make a table runner or pillow case. The most comfortable way to join these motives is using large picots. Please feel free to contact me if you need any help with this process.

0. ch 7, sl st in first lp to form a ring.

Rnd. 1

ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1),
{*4hdc-cluster in the ring, ch 2, 4hdc-cluster in the ring*, ch 1, dc in the ring, ch 1} x 3 times,
repeat from * to * once again,
sl st in the 3rd loop of beginning ch-4 space.

Rnd. 2

ch 1, 4hdc-cluster in the same st, ch 3, 4hdc-cluster in the same st,
{*skip next space, 5 dc in the next space, skip next cluster*, 4hdc-cluster in the next st, ch 3, 4hdc-cluster in the same st} x 3 times,
repeat from * to * once again,
sl st in the top of the first cluster.
Mark every 2nd and 4th dc in groups of 5 dc to use in future rounds.

Rnd. 3

sl st in the next space, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in the same space,
{*skip the next cluster, 4fphdc-cluster around the next st, ch 1, skip the next st, 4hdc-cluster in the next st, ch 2, 4hdc-cluster in the same st, ch 1, skip the next st, 4fphdc-cluster around the next st*, 5 dc in the next space} x 3 times,
repeat from * to * once again,
sl st in the 3rd loop of the beginning ch-3 sp.

Rnd. 4

sl st in the next 2 sts, ch 1, 4hdc-cluster in the same st, ch 2, 4hdc-cluster in the same st,
{*skip next 2 sts, fphdc around the next cluster, ch 3, fptr around the first marked st of round 2 directly below, skip next sp of the 3rd round, 5 dc in the next sp, fptr around the next marked st of the 2nd round directly below, ch 3, skip the next cluster of round 3, fphdc around the next cluster, skip the next 2 sts*, 4hdc-cluster in the next st, ch 2, 4hdc-cluster in the same st} x 3 times,
repeat from * to * once again,
sl st in the first cluster.

Rnd. 5

sl st in the next sp, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in the same space,
{*ch 1, 4hdc-cluster in the next space, ch 3, fpdc around the next st, skip next 2 sts, 4hdc-cluster in the next st, ch 2, 4hdc-cluster in the same st, skip next 2 sts, fpdc around the next st, ch 3, 4hdc-cluster in the next sp, ch 1*, 5 dc in the next space} x 3 times,
