Hello, please find below my new crochet pattern – Liběna doily 🙂 Hope you’ll like it!

Print friendly and ad free file can be bought on my Etsy store – PDF Libena doily crochet pattern. This file, which is available on Etsy and Ravelry, also contains 2 extra versions of this doily, so there are 3 versions in total (diagrams and written instructions are in the file for all of them).

Difficulty level: Intermediate
For that doily you’ll need crochet hook #2 and about 120 m of appropriate yarn (for example, CotLine of Gronitex is just great for this pattern). Size of the finished doily is about 10.5 in (27 cm) in diameter after blocking.
For the better look, I recommend to wash and block the finished doily.

Stitch guide (US terms):
ch = chain
4hdc-cluster = [yo, insert hook in the indicated st or space, yo and pull up the loop] x 4 times, yo and draw through 8 loops on the hook, yo and draw through all loops on the hook
dc = double crochet
tr = treble crochet
bpdc =back post double crochet
fpdc = front post double crochet
sc = single crochet
fpdtr = front post double treble crochet
bpdtr = back post double treble crochet
beginning 5dc-popcorn = ch 3 (= first dc), make 4 dc in the indicated st or space, drop the loop from the hook, insert hook in the top of the first dc of this group, pull up the working loop, make ch 1 to complete the popcorn
5dc-popcorn = make 5 dc in the indicated st or space, drop the loop from the hook, insert hook in the top of the first dc of this group, pull up the working loop, make ch 1 to complete the popcorn
2bpdc-decrease (2 sts are used) = yo, insert hook from back to front to back again around the post of the first indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, draw through 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from back to front to back again around the post of the second indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, draw through 2 loops on the hook, yo and draw through all loops on the hook
picot = ch 5, sl st in the top of the last created st
4dtr-decrease (4 sts are used) = yo 3 times, insert hook in the first indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, draw through 2 loops on the hook 3 times, [yo 3 times, insert hook in the next indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, draw through 2 loops on the hook 3 times] x 3 times, yo and draw through all loops on the hook

Rnd 1

beginning 5dc-popcorn in the ring,
[ch 3, 5dc-popcorn in the ring] x 5 times,
ch 3, sl st in the top of the first popcorn.

Rnd 2

sl st in the next space, ch 3 (= first dc), 2 dc in the same space,
[ch 2, 3 dc in the next space] x 5 times,
ch 2, sl st in the top of the beginning dc.

Rnd 3

ch 3 (= first dc), dc in the same st,
[*dc in the next st, 2 dc in the next st, ch 2*, 2 dc in the next st] x 5 times,
repeat from * to * once again, sl st in the beginning dc.

Rnd 4

ch 3 (= first dc),
[*dc in each of next 4 sts, ch 4, dc in the 4th loop from the hook,* dc in the next st] x 5 times,
repeat from * to * once again, sl st in the beginning dc.

Rnd 5

ch 3 (= first dc),
[*dc in each of next 4 sts, {ch 4, dc in the 4th loop from the hook} x 2 times*, dc in the next st] x 5 times,
repeat from * to * once again, sl st in the beginning dc.

ch 3 (= first dc),
[dc in each of next 4 sts, {ch 4, dc in the 4th loop from the hook} x 3 times, dc in the next st] x 5 times,
repeat from * to * once again, sl st in the beginning dc.

Rnd 7

ch 4, 4dtr-decrease in next 4 sts (first 5dtr-decrease is made),
[*{ch 5, tr in the 5th loop from the hook} x 4 times,* 5dtr-decrease in the next 5 sts] x 5 times,
repeat from * to * once again, sl st in the top of the first decrease.

Rnd 8

sl st in the next space, ch 1, sc in the same space,
[ch 5, sc in the next space] x repeat around,
ch 5, sl st in the top of the first sc.

sl st in the next space, ch 2, 4hdc-cluster in the same space,
