Quick and easy crochet coasters
Hello, I am not sure, if I’ve already posted this pattern here or not, but, if yes, let’s do this once again 🙂
For 1 coaster you’ll need about 70 m of size 3 crochet thread and an appropriate crochet hook (usually I use 2-2.25 mm).
Stitch guide:
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
Let’s start crocheting!
0. Make a magic ring,
- ch 3 (= first dc), 11 dc in ring, sl st in first dc. (12 dc)
- ch 3 (= first dc), dc in same st, 2 dc in each next st around, sl st in first dc. (24 dc)
- ch 3 (= first dc), 2 dc in next st, [dc in next st, 2 dc in next st] repeat around, sl st in first dc. (36 dc)
- ch 3 (= first dc), dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, [dc in each of next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st] repeat around, sl st in first dc. (48 dc)
- ch 3 (= first dc), dc in each of next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st, [dc in each of next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st] repeat around, sl st in first dc. (60 dc)
- ch 3 (= first dc), dc in each of next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st, [dc in each of next 4 sts, 2 dc in next st] repeat around, sl st in first dc. (72 dc)
- ch 1, sc in same st, [*ch 4, dc in 4th ch from the hook, ch 3, sl st in top of last dc, ch 4, sc in 4th ch from hook, skip next 5 sts,* sc in next st] repeat 11 times, repeat * * once again, sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
For the better look I recommend to wash and block the finished coaster.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you and happy crocheting!
