Hedvika Doily crochet pattern

Hedvika doily designed by gull808

You will need:

  1. Lace Yarn (for example, Snehurka, 220 m / 30 g, you’ll need about 110 m)
  2. Crochet hook (#1)
  3. Scissors

Difficulty level: Intermediate

Size of the finished doily in case of using the yarn from my example is about 19 x 15 cm.

Stitch Guide (US terms):

yo = yarn over

ch = chain

sc = single crochet

dc = double crochet

hdc = half double crochet

bpdc = back post double crochet

fpdc = front post double crochet

small picot = ch 3, slip st in the 3rd loop from the hook, ch 1

2fpdc-cluster = yo, insert hook from front to back around the indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, yo, insert hook from front to back around the same st, yo and pull up the loop, crochet 2 loops on the hook, crochet all loops on the hook

4fptrtr-cluster = [4 yos, insert hook from front to back around the indicated st, yo and pull up the loop, {crochet 2 loops on the hook} x 4 times] x 4 times, crochet all loops on the hook

bpsc = back post single crochet

4dc-popcorn = make 4 dc in the indicated st or space, drop the loop from the hook, insert hook in the top of the first dc of this group and pull the working loop up

4hdc-cluster = [yo, insert hook in the indicated st or space, yo and pull up the loop] x 4 times, crochet through 8 loops on the hook, crochet all loops on the hook

beginning 4hdc-cluster = ch 2, [yo, insert hook in the indicated st or space, yo and pull up the loop] x 3 times, crochet through 6 loops on the hook, crochet all loops on the hook

tr = treble crochet

picot = ch 4, slip st in the 4th loop from the hook, ch 1

large picot = ch 7, slip st in the top of last created st

special popcorn (2 sts are used) = make 3 tr in the first indicated st, make 3 tr in the next indicated st, drop the loop from the hook, insert hook in the top of the first created tr and pull the working loop up
